Hong Kong's ambition to be recognised as an international centre for green finance and technology has received a ringing endorsement.

New research backs city as sustainability services hub

Chinese companies turn to Hong Kong for green expertise

When asked about the three top factors for property buyers, an estate agent will say “location, location, location” and for investors in Hong Kong as well as the broader Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area “location” is a broad term.

GBA buyers encounter many obstacles in their search for real estate across the globe and a Hong Kong fintech is easing these pain points.

Giving property investors wings

As a leading international financial hub Hong Kong keeps abreast of developments in the financial universe, and green finance has moved firmly into the spotlight.

As the leading annual event returns to physical format, sustainability features strongly on the agenda, reflecting the importance the financial world places on the issue.

AFF launches green finance year

With Mainland China setting 2060 as the deadline for carbon neutrality, sustainable development has become an important goal for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and global bank HSBC have teamed up to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) upgrade in order to achieve environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives.

As investors, customers and regulators put more weight on green issues, Hong Kong’s SMEs need to adapt.
