Hong Kong fashion and accessory brands will be in prime position when Men’s Fashion Week draws the world’s fashion elite to Paris in late June.

A curated group of brands will display pieces from their latest apparel and accessories collections at a showroom in the heart of Paris’ fashion district – Rue de la Paix – from 24 to 28 June. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) under its Fashion Hong Kong platform, the event serves as a one-stop shop for international marketing and brand promotion. Through events, exhibitions and pop-ups in leading fashion capitals, Fashion Hong Kong connects designers with global buyers, media and industry players. The Paris showcase is the second promotion held this year following a runway show and designer showroom held at London Fashion Week in February.

Among the participating designers in Paris, Louis Chow, founder of fashion house MARCCH and an awardee at the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest, will headline the apparel showcase. He will present a collection defined by his signature “wearable humour” style.

MARCCH will also team up with bag designer MATTER MATTERS to debut several collaborative pieces created with acclaimed Paris-based artist Yaz Bukey, showcasing the fusion of Hong Kong design and European creativity. Meanwhile, jewellery designer Kinks Lab will present experimental pieces inspired by architectural design and crafted using traditional metalworking technique. Accessories label PabePabe will showcase its collection of leather bags inspired by daily life and everyday objects.

This year’s showroom is held in conjunction with Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl), which lends its expertise in logistics and cargo handling to support the display. As part of the showcase, the company will unveil a reimagined staff uniform collection designed by fashion brand PLOTZ. The collection features numerous innovations including a fabric made from recycled plastic that offers moisture-wicking and anti-static properties, while meeting high-visibility standards and ensuring breathability and ease of movement.

A networking reception will bring together around 200 industry professionals, media representatives and buyers, creating further opportunities for Hong Kong brands to connect with the international fashion community and explore business collaborations.

A mainstay of the global fashion calendar, Men’s Fashion Week runs from 23 to 28 June and marks the end of the spring/summer cycle of men’s runway shows following events in London and Milan. After a short interval, the fashion calendar resumes with the prestigious Paris Haute Couture Week on 6 July. Against this backdrop, the Fashion Hong Kong showcase gives Hong Kong brands an early opportunity to capture the attention of international media and influencers ahead of a busy season of key industry events in the second half of the year.
