WHAT: The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the business ecosystem. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have made contingency arrangements for employees which may destabilise the employment relationship. This webinar will discuss mainland labour laws; tax arrangements for Hong Kong residents doing business in the mainland; insurance protecting Hong Kong SMEs operating in the mainland and their staff; labour dispute prevention and resolution methods and more. The workshop will also present case studies to help companies and individuals formulate more effective risk-management systems. The webinar is presented by T-box (Transformation Sandbox), a free SME support programme offered by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to help businesses upgrade and transform.
