More than 1,850 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions will converge on the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre this August as the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s (HKTDC) five food and lifestyle fairs return with their strongest international line-up yet.
Running from 13 to 17 August, the Food Expo, Home Delights Expo and Beauty & Wellness Expo will be held alongside the trade-focused Food Expo PRO and the Hong Kong International Tea Fair, creating a one-stop platform that combines business sourcing, networking and consumer experiences.
This year's events highlight Hong Kong's role as a gateway connecting international brands with Mainland China and regional markets. Under the theme Live Well - Stay Well, the fairs reflect growing demand for wellness, quality living and innovative products across Asia and beyond.
International participation reaches new heights
For the first time, all ASEAN member states will be represented at Food Expo PRO and the Tea Fair, including debut exhibitors from Brunei and Timor-Leste. The fairs will also welcome first-time exhibitors from Colombia and Greece, while the Korea Pavilion has expanded by 40% to become the largest overseas pavilion, featuring more than 130 exhibitors.
In total, 43 group pavilions will showcase products from around the world, including delegations from multiple Mainland provinces and municipalities as well as Brazil, Malaysia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
The Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre of China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has also organised delegations from numerous provinces to showcase premium agricultural products and explore international market opportunities through Hong Kong.
Food Expo PRO spotlights emerging trends
Trade visitors to Food Expo PRO can explore several new and expanded zones reflecting evolving consumer preferences and business opportunities.
A new Meat Zone will feature premium meat products, including halal-certified offerings and innovative convenience foods. The popular Coffee Zone returns with an expanded international presence, bringing together suppliers from Yunnan, Colombia, Macao, Myanmar, Thailand and the United States.
Innovation will be the focus in the Food Science and Technology Zone, where exhibitors will showcase future foods, food-service technologies and AI-powered solutions. The accompanying Food Tech Symposium will examine how technology is reshaping the food industry and supporting healthier lifestyles.
Another growth area is the pet economy, with Food Expo PRO introducing pet food products for the first time. Exhibitors will showcase innovations designed to enhance product quality, convenience and market reach.
Demand for halal products also continues to rise. More than 130 exhibitors will participate under the halal food and beverage label this year, complemented by a dedicated networking event for buyers and suppliers in the halal product sector.
Meanwhile, Food Expo will feature a wide range of activities for public visitors, including cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs, the new Dessert and Gelato collection showcasing over 100 dessert products, and a competition focused on various methods of preparing foods for elderly consumers.
Tea culture meets modern lifestyles
The Hong Kong International Tea Fair continues to evolve beyond traditional tea appreciation. This year's highlights include rare teas from Yunnan, premium teas from Kenya and Sri Lanka, and the debut of the Chinese Mainland Matcha Pavilion, showcasing products from Guizhou and Zhejiang, China's leading matcha-exporting regions.
A new Tea Lifestyle zone will demonstrate how tea culture is being reimagined through sparkling teas, tea-based cocktails, tea-infused products and wellness experiences. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong International Tea Culture Forum will explore topics, such as the internationalisation of Chinese tea brands.
Wellness, smart living and Chinese medicine
Beyond food and beverages, visitors can explore wellness and lifestyle trends at the Beauty & Wellness Expo and Home Delights Expo.
New attractions include the Stay Relax zone, featuring wellness technologies and relaxation products, while the Home Delights Expo will spotlight sleep health and smart-home solutions.
The three-day International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products will bring together more than 30 experts from around the world to discuss research, regulation and international development opportunities for the Chinese medicine sector. Public education activities at the Food Expo will also help visitors learn more about Chinese medicine and preventive healthcare.
With global products, industry insights, emerging wellness trends and a packed programme of business events, the five fairs reaffirm Hong Kong's position as a vibrant international hub for trade, sourcing and lifestyle innovation.
