This year’s Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair will bring a diverse range of drinks from around the world to Hong Kong on 7-9 November.
The fair, which has been organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Key highlights for exhibitors and buyers include Fine Wines and Premium Spirits, showcasing high-end drinks for connoisseurs, and World-Class Beers, shining a spotlight on a segment that is experiencing growing demand.
A Friends of Wine section will feature snacks that pair well with wine, including olive oil products, while education-oriented The Wine Gallery will offer wine magazines as well as displays of selected wines.
Online matching services will run from 31 October to 16 November, while online sourcing services will run from 7 October to 6 December.
The main sponsors are the Hong Kong Food, Drink & Grocery Association, Hong Kong Sommelier Association, The Hong Kong & Kowloon Provisions, Wine & Spirits Dealers’ Association and The Hong Kong Food Council.
Last year’s fair drew some 7,000 buyers from 49 countries and regions.
The fair’s public day last year attracted around 9,000 people who attended masterclasses, wine tasting sessions and seminars.
