Buyers, brands and IP owners to converge in Hong Kong.

More than 5,500 lifestyle and licensing companies from Asia and Europe are set to gather in Hong Kong for seven mega events organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), offering one-stop sourcing for buyers.

These mega events include the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle and Fashion InStyle, three lifestyle showcases which are running at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on 27-30 April.

The Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, co-organised by the HKTDC and CIEC Exhibition Company, are being held on the same dates at AsiaWorld-Expo.

Meanwhile, the HKTDC is also staging two major licensing events, the Hong Kong International Licensing Show and the Asian Licensing Conference, at the HKCEC on 27-29 April.

Across all seven events, exhibitors are showcasing a wide range of creative and cultural offerings, spanning gifts, houseware, fashion, IP assets and much more.

The events are also leveraging Hong Kong’s unique connectivity between the Chinese Mainland and international markets, aligning with China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and economic development strategy, while reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as a regional creative hub and international business centre.

Creativity and innovation

New initiatives at this year's events include Reimagine, a themed floor at the Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle. Reimagine is focused on future lifestyles and forward-looking trends, such as smart design, gerontech and innovative materials.

The Gifts & Premium Fair is also hosting the grand finale of the Hong Kong Smart Design Global Awards, a celebration of design talent. The awards have been organised by the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association and are sponsored by the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA).

At Home InStyle, a dedicated zone called Cultural and Creative Avenue celebrates cultural heritage, presenting distinctive brands and designs from more than 110 exhibitors. The zone once again partners with colour specialist Pantone, taking the company’s 2026 Colour of the Year ‘Cloud Dancer’ as its theme to curate home décor settings.

Dedicated zones at Fashion InStyle, meanwhile, include Designer Spotlight, Materials Bazaar, Fashion Accessories, Women in Style, Bridal & Evening Wear and Athleisure.

Also at Fashion InStyle, the CCIDA-sponsored NEXT@Fashion InStyle zone demonstrates how materials innovation can drive industry transformation and advance sustainability. This year’s featured zone partner is the Philippines.

At the same time, smart packaging and innovative materials promise to be a key highlight at this year’s Printing & Packaging Fair, which is also spotlighting advanced tracking and anti-counterfeiting technologies.

Some exhibitors are presenting packaging products made from plant-based or bio-based materials.

Running concurrently, DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong features premium printing and packaging solutions for high-end goods, such as jewellery, watches, cosmetics and fine wine.

Another mega event, the Hong Kong International Licensing Show, is set to gather more than 600 brands and IP assets, spanning arts and culture, animation and characters, brand extensions, entertainment, lifestyle and sport.

This year’s show is debuting an IP and e-Commerce Support Services zone, bringing together online shopping platforms, influencers, marketing firms and PR agencies to help brands and IP owners capitalise on new business opportunities.

Industry leaders can also explore the latest developments and opportunities in global licensing at the concurrent Asian Licensing Conference. This year’s conference theme is ‘Connecting Creativity, Unlocking Licensing Power’.
