WHAT: The Asian Licensing Conference Online (ALC) is a one-stop online platform for global licensors and brands to explore business opportunities with licensees, licensing agents and traders from all over the world. The event also provides industry players with the opportunity to get up to date on market intelligence, trends and opportunities.
Running in parallel with ALC, the debut Brand Forum will feature established brands in Asia – including the likes of BANDAI, CAPCOM, Fuji Television and Minto – which will share their brand stories and connect with participants for potential partnerships. In addition, 45 home-grown Hong Kong brands from DLAB will present their creative character designs.
The Licensing Academy will provide a “licensing 101” for newcomers to the industry with a series of thematic workshops. Complimentary business-matching meetings will also be arranged for participants seeking out potential business collaborations.

WHY: Famed for its insightful content and renowned speakers, ALC 2022 gathers industry elites including 1011 SIPTEA, Animoca Brands, ARTiSTORY , BBS Records (the first in the world to drop a Chinese music NFT), Licensing International, MRM Entertainment Limited, Semk Products Limited (B-Duck), ShineRay Co Ltd (LARP Licensing) and The Smiley Company to discuss topics related to key industry issues, including non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the metaverse, brand crossovers, arts and culture licensing, art technology, location-based entertainment experiences and ESG in licensing.
The 2021 edition was well received with more than 23,000 viewers from 25 countries and regions joining the online event.
