State Council Unveils Raft of Relief Measures for Struggling Businesses

The State Council has announced a raft of measures to both boost the steady growth of the mainland’s industrial economy and to throw a lifeline to any service sectors facing particular difficulties. In order to deliver on this, income tax relief will be extended to the industrial and service sectors, while temporary tax breaks will be offered to businesses adversely affected by the current operating environment, including those in the catering, retail or tourism sectors.
