Guangdong Pushes for Formulation of Local Standards for TCM Formula Granules

On 4 January, the Medical Products Administration of Guangdong released a plan to convert quality standards for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula granules in force outside Guangdong into standards for trial implementation in the province. The trial standards will remain in force for two years and it is hoped they will promote studies to formulate permanent local standards.
