Qianhai Extends Preferential Enterprise Income Tax Policy

In order to facilitate enterprises in the Shenzhen Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone (the Zone) in applying for preferential policies, the Qianhai Management Authority has decided to extend its trial operational guidelines on awarding preferential enterprise income tax treatment for enterprises in the Zone (Shen Qian Hai Gui No. 4 [2018]). It has also updated the name of the guidelines to Shen Qian Hai Gui No. 4 [2020]. Between 1 August 2020 and 31 December 2021, enterprises that meet the requirements set out in the Zone’s catalogue of enterprise income tax incentives can pay enterprise income tax at a preferential rate of 15%. Eligible industries include modern logistics, information services, technology services, and cultural and creative industries.
