Revised CCC Implementation Rules for Toys and Baby Carriages Take Effect in July

The Certification and Accreditation Administration of China recently announced that its revised implementation rules for the certification of toys and baby carriages (CNCA-C22-01: 20220 and CNCA-C22-02: 2020) (new-version rules) will take effect on 1 July (Announcement No. 14 [2020]). The announcement stressed that designated certification bodies must formulate detailed implementation rules in accordance with the requirements of all new and existing rules relating to compulsory product certification and that they must also observe archival filing with the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China.
Designated certification bodies will conduct certification and issue certificates in accordance with the new-version rules from 1 July. Valid CCC certificates already issued may continue to be used and may be renewed upon expiry.
