Government Work Report Upholds Policy of Further Opening-Up

A government work report delivered by Premier Li Keqiang on 5 March sets targets for this year of stabilising employment, expanding domestic demand and strengthening opening-up and trade with foreign countries. Specific targets include achieving a GDP growth of around 5.5%, creating over 11 million urban jobs, keeping the unemployment rate under 5.5% and keeping the inflation rate at around 3%.
