SmartHK is the Hong Kong Trade Development Council’s (HKTDC) annual promotion event held in leading cities in Mainland China (including Guangzhou, Jinan, Chengdu, Fuzhou and Hangzhou) since 2011. The conference-oriented forum offers interactive sessions and business matching services for enterprises.
SmartHK also introduces Hong Kong as a high-quality professional service platform to promote exchanges between the city and mainland centres, and connects Hong Kong and mainland enterprises.
Cooperation week
This year’s SmartHK will become the flagship event of the Hong Kong-Guangdong Cooperation Week and will be held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou on 24 May. The conference will focus on how Hong Kong’s international network and innovative professional services can support and promote Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area development and integration.
The conference will cover Hong Kong services including finance, innovation and technology, transport logistics and infrastructure. In addition, the HKTDC will also invite the Start-up Express winning entrepreneurs, innovation parks, as well as the incubation and entrepreneur centres of various universities to showcase the cooperation and achievements of Hong Kong and the GBA in cooperative industry-university-research, and hold business matchmaking meetings.
In addition to conferences and seminars, SmartHK will also set up a business matching and service consultation area and SmartHK Bay Area Live Streaming to facilitate Hong Kong service suppliers to promote services and solutions, and connect with enterprises in the Greater Bay Area to discuss cooperation.
