AFF 2024 : Prof. Jeffrey Sachs Envisions Hong Kong's Role in Driving Global Sustainable Development

At the 17th Asian Financial Forum 2024, Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs, President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, discussed how the world is uniting around a sustainable future built on four pillars: economic improvement, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, and peace & cooperation.

As a major hub of globalisation, Hong Kong is ideally positioned to be super-connector through leveraging its strengths in finance, trade, and technology. He also highlighted the dynamic growth opportunities in Mainland China, India, and Africa, stressing the importance of their cooperation for mutual economic benefits.
