WHAT: The COVID‑19 pandemic has greatly boosted e-commerce as businesses sought new sales channels in both local and overseas markets. Among markets drawing interest is Turkey, a transcontinental nation located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia with a sizeable, young population. To help Hong Kong traders familiarise themselves with the market, a coming webinar will provide key insights into Turkey’s digital and economic landscape, and deliver expert advice on how best to secure success within its borders.
WHEN: 16 November 3pm – 4.15pm
WHO: Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council
WHY: Speakers include Perran Ersu, HKTDC Consultant in Istanbul, who has served as President of the PR World Alliance. A specialist in promoting the country’s overseas trade and investment potential, she provides a consultancy service to many of the Turkish companies looking to expand globally.
She will be joined by Onur Diken, Senior Sales & Business Development Manager, at Hepsiburada.com, one of Turkey’s largest online shopping platforms. He has overall responsibility for the sales, marketing and business development of Hepsilojistik, the end-to-end fulfilment division of Hepsiburada.
The third speaker is Murat Senel, Head of Commerce at HepsiGlobal, the cross-border arm of Hepsiburada. Mr Senel is responsible for driving growth.
