WHY: Speakers include Jenny Lam, Economist (Global Research) at the HKTDC. She is responsible for Europe and Central Asia market development research and provides key insights into a broad range of product and service sectors, including clothing, footwear, watches and clocks, spectacles, sporting goods, marketing and publishing.
Giving a Russian perspective will be Victor Merkulov, Head of Cross-Border Acquisition at Ozon Global, one of Russia’s fastest-growing multi-category e-commerce platforms. Mr Merkulov has hands-on experience in a vibrant digital marketplace with an active buyer base of more than 11 million. He also has insight in e-commerce business development, project management and analytics in Asian markets. As a Sinologist with a distinguished academic background in information systems, economics and regional studies, he actively participates in many Mainland China-related consultancy projects with a particular focus on techno-industrial developments.
