Argentina Suspends AD Duty Order on Plastic Syringes. Argentina has suspended its AD duty order on mainland Chinese disposable and sterile hypodermic plastic syringes, with or without needles, of a volume ranging from one cubic centimetre to 60 cc, classified under NCM 9018.31.11 and 9018.31.19. The suspension will remain in effect for the duration of the state of public emergency stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Brazil Announces Schedule for AD Sunset Review on S-PVC Resins. Brazilian authorities have announced the next steps in the on-going sunset review of the AD duty order on mainland Chinese polyvinyl chloride suspension (S-PVC) resins classified under NCM 3904.10.10, as follows: closure of evidential phase of investigation (5 May), deadline for data and information contained in the file (3 June), issuance of technical note with essential facts under analysis to be considered in the final determination (11 June), deadline for presentation of final submissions by interested parties and end of instruction phase (23 June), and issuance by DECOM of final determination (13 July).
