Guangdong Adopts 10 Tax Measures to Help Businesses Fight Epidemic Outbreak

The Guangdong Provincial Tax Service, introduced on 1 February 2020, is a package of 10 tax measures to help businesses and strengthen epidemic prevention and control efforts.
Under the policy, a comprehensive review of tax support policies will be conducted and measures will be taken to support medical institutions in carrying out epidemic prevention work. Communication with businesses will also be strengthened to get a clearer picture of their operational and production difficulties and coordinate efforts to resolve any tax problems.
The tax measures involve increased support for the following: front-line medical workers, provision of epidemic control supplies and medical treatments, and key scientific research projects. There will also be support in terms of preferential policies in relation to donations for the public good.
