Mexico Begins AD Investigation on Aluminium Discs. Mexico’s Ministry of Economy initiated on 9 August an antidumping duty investigation of aluminium discs classified under HTSMX 7616.99.10 from mainland China. Certain importers, exporters and the mainland Chinese government will have 23 working days counted five days from the date the applicable notice of investigation is sent to them to submit the official form for this investigation and any arguments thereof. All other interested parties may submit the official form for this investigation no later than 23 working days from 14 August.
Argentina’s AD Probe of Certain Aluminium Foil Moves Forward. Argentina has decided to proceed to the final phase of its AD duty investigation of mainland Chinese aluminium foil, not backed, rolled but not further worked, of a thickness of at least 0.006 millimetres but no greater than 0.2 mm and a width no greater than 1,300 mm, other than smooth foil, with an aluminium content of at least 99.2 percent by weight and a thickness no greater than six micrometres, in reels of a width no greater than 500 mm, in accordance with standard ASTM B 373-95, classified under NCM 7607.11.90. No preliminary measures have been imposed, however.
