Mexico Issues AD Duty Order on Polyester Staple Fibre. Mexico has issued an AD duty order on polyester staple fibre classified under HTSMX 5503.20.01 and 5503.20.99 from mainland China. Accordingly, imports of subject merchandise will face an AD duty of US$0.46 per kilogramme for the next five years.
Brazil Terminates AD Probe of Rolling Mill Rolls. Brazil has terminated without the imposition of any measures its AD investigation of certain rolls for rolling mills of cast iron or steel classified under NCM 8455.30.10 and 8544.30.90 from mainland China. According to Brazilian authorities, there was no sufficient evidence of significant injury to a domestic industry.
Brazil Renews AD Duty Order on Table Fans. Brazil has renewed its AD duty order on certain mainland Chinese table fans classified under NCM 8414.51.10. As a result, imports of subject merchandise will face an AD duty of US$11.76 per unit for the next five years.
Brazil Begins Sunset Reviews on Safety Glass and Ceramic Filters. Brazil has initiated separate sunset reviews of the AD duty orders on mainland Chinese (1) safety glass for use in household refrigerating appliances classified under NCM 7007.19.00, and (2) refractory ceramic filters classified under NCM 6903.90.91 and 6903.90.99. Imports of subject safety glass are currently subject to an AD measure of US$2.74 or US$5.45 per square metre, while imports of subject filters currently face an AD duty of US$6.06/kg.
Mexico Begins Sunset Review on Sodium Hexameta-phosphate. Mexico has initiated a sunset review of the AD duty order on certain mainland Chinese sodium hexameta-phosphate classified under HTSMX 2835.39.02. Imports of subject merchandise currently face a dumping margin of 25.35 percent.
Argentina Begins Sunset Review on Ceramic/Marble/Glass Tiles and Similar Products. Argentina has launched a sunset and changed circumstances review of the AD duty order on the following mainland Chinese products: (i) guards and strips of ceramic tile (glazed or unglazed), except of porcelain, (ii) guards and strips of marble, travertine or glass tile, (iii) glass inserts for mosaics or similar decorations, including those with a support, and (iv) inserts, including those in a shape other than square or rectangular, the largest surface area of which is capable of being enclosed in a square the side of which is less than seven centimetres, including those with a support, of ceramic (glazed or unglazed), marble or travertine, for mosaics and similar decorations, classified under NCM 6802.10.00, 6802.91.00, 6907.30.00, 6907.40.00, 7016.10.00 and 7016.90.00. The review will result in either the renewal or revocation of this order.
Canada Concludes Re-Investigation of AD/CV Measures on Copper Pipe Fittings. The Canada Border Services Agency has concluded a re-investigation of the normal values, export prices and amounts of subsidy of certain copper pipe fittings classified under HTSCA 7412.10.0011, 7412.10.0019, 7412.10.0090, 7412.20.0011, 7412.20.0012, 7412.20.0019 and 7412.20.0090 from mainland China. Specific normal values, export prices and amounts of subsidy for future shipments of subject merchandise have been determined for all exporters that submitted complete information and for whom the desk and/or on-site verification was considered reliable. For all other exporters of subject merchandise, normal values will be determined by ministerial specification calculated by advancing the export price of the goods by 242 percent.
The CBSA assigned the following amounts of subsidy to two c0-operative exporters in mainland China: Zhejiang Hailiang Co. Ltd. (RMB2.30/kg) and Zhuji City Howhi Air Conditioners Made Co. Ltd. (RMB0.18/kg). For all other exporters of subject goods, the amount of subsidy will be determined in accordance with a ministerial specification by applying a rate of RMB17.73/kg.
