Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference

WHAT: The event brings together services providers, including manufacturers, traders and suppliers, for the latest market intelligence on regional business opportunities, as well as trends in logistics, supply chain management and maritime services.

WHO: Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Thai Minister of Transport will be this year’s keynote speaker. Dr Victor K Fung, Chairman of the Fung Group, will be the keynote speaker at the first plenary session, chaired by Ben Bland, South China Correspondent, Financial Times. Other panel speakers include Siddique Khan, President, Kerry Globalink.
The second plenary session on “Delivering New World Order for Online Shopping” (24 November), will feature speakers including James Gagne, President, SEKO Logistics; Katsuhiko Umetsu, Director and Chairman, Yamato Global Logistics Japan Co, Ltd; and James Chang, Chief Crossborder Officer, Lazada Group.
Manufacturers and suppliers, importers/exporters, wholesalers, distributors and retailers, logistics and maritime services providers, airport and port operators are among those who should attend the event.
WHY: Discussions this year will focus on several hot topics, including the Belt and Road Initiative, e-Commerce and Smart Logistics.
An exhibition will be staged alongside the conference, featuring about 120 exhibitors, offering e-logistics solutions as well as logistics, shipping and maritime-related services.
