Shenzhen Specifies Cross-Border E-Commerce Wine Quality Data Requirements

Specifications of the exact quality details required for the import of wine via cross-border e-commerce channels have been jointly released by the Market Supervision Administration of Shenzhen and the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of Shenzhen. These requirements were spelt out in Cross-Border E-Commerce Product Quality Information Monitoring: Imported Wines, a technical guidance document issued by the two bodies. The document also outlines the statutory monitoring procedures and requirements, as well as highlighting the individual responsibilities of the designated product quality inspection institutions, cross-border e-commerce platform enterprises and cross-border e-commerce business enterprises.
These requirements came into effect as of 1 September 2017.
