Over 2,000 logistics leaders and professionals from more than 40 countries and regions will gather in Hong Kong on 17 and 18 November for the Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC).
As Asia’s premier annual conference for the logistics, shipping and aviation industries, the 15th edition of ALMAC will focus on trends and opportunities in a global supply chain landscape shaped by geopolitical tensions, tariffs, extreme weather and ongoing disruptions.
Under the theme “Collaboration and Growth in the New Trade Landscape”, this year’s conference will focus on three major areas: supply chain diversification and emerging market opportunities, sustainability and green energy, and innovation and technology.
Among the more than 80 industry leaders speaking at the event, heavyweight speakers will include logistics and sustainability leads from major consumer goods multinationals, including Mattel, P&G, Reckitt and HP, in addition to representatives from shipping giants, such as DHL Express, GEODIS and SEKO Logistics. These experts will share their key strategies for embedding innovation across technology, talent and processes to drive sustainable transformation and secure long-term business success.
Two thematic sessions will put a spotlight on the Middle East and Central Asia as significant hubs for global trade and logistics.
Speakers from Etihad Airways, Iron Mountain and the Qatar Free Zones Authority will discuss the opportunities in the Middle East's supply chain and logistics sectors and analyse how the region is reshaping global trade dynamics.
Meanwhile, a session titled “Unlocking Central Asia: The Next Trade and Logistics Frontier” will deliver an in-depth analysis of emerging prospects in Central Asia's supply chain and logistics sector featuring insights from the QazTrade Center for Trade Policy Development, Shyngar Trans and the OECD.
A Green Energy Forum on the second day of the conference will draw attention to green transformation with speakers exploring the development of green methanol, green ammonia and hydrogen fuels, as well as the challenges in achieving a sustainable low-carbon future.
Amid growing interest in the Low-Altitude Economy (LAE), another highlight will be a session on breakthroughs in unmanned cargo transport, covering next-generation drone designs, automation technologies and AI-powered logistics systems. Companies participating in Hong Kong’s LAE initiative will showcase cutting-edge applications in the exhibition zone, including drones and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The conference will be complemented by an exhibition area featuring over 90 exhibitors across zones for Aviation, Low-Altitude Economy, Logtech Salon, Supply Chain Management and Maritime Services. New participants include SF Express, Greater Bay Airlines, YunExpress, ZIM and PayCargo, alongside major players such as KLN, Hactl, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and Modern Terminals. Mainland exhibitors from Chengdu, Jiangsu, Fuzhou and Qianhai will participate for the first time.
The NextGen Logistician Awards 2025 will be presented on the second day of the conference to recognise young professionals who have made significant achievements and shown remarkable potential in innovative, high-end, smart and green logistics.
