With the theme of Reimagining the Future of Healthcare, the third Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) runs in Hong Kong on 17 and 18 May. The conference assembles stakeholders – from healthcare experts to renowned academia and influential business leaders, together with key industry players, innovative start-ups, investors and policymakers – from around the world to exchange insights, explore opportunities and collaborate on the diverse and dynamic healthcare sector.
Positioned as Asia’s premier health innovation and investment event, ASGH is jointly organised by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). The second edition in 2022 featured more than 80 internationally renowned speakers and attracted over 22,000 onsite and online participants from over 50 countries and regions. The event arranged over 280 one-to-one meetings matching investors with global healthcare projects were arranged.
Coinciding with ASGH 2023, the second edition of International Healthcare Week coordinated by HKTDC will aggregate several complementary healthcare events in Hong Kong to facilitate more cross-disciplinary collaboration between industry players and interlocutors. As anchor events under the Week, the ASGH and HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair run concurrently to highlight Hong Kong's strengths in the healthcare sector.
