Hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the Hong Kong Forum returns on 5 and 6 December , an annual gathering of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide.
The Federation is a network of 47 Hong Kong Business Associations in 36 countries and regions with more than 11,000 individual business executives and professionals from around the world as members.
Every year, Federation members converge in Hong Kong to attend the two-day Forum. The Forum gives them the latest insights and information on doing business in Hong Kong and Mainland China. The programme includes panel discussions and networking sessions with senior executives from Hong Kong and around the world.
Sessions range from the plenary – The Evolution of Hong Kong's Business: A New Perspective for Business Opportunities to a session on healthcare investment and innovation. Speakers this year include Paul Chan, Financial Secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Bernard Charnwut Chan, Vice Chairman of the Board of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority.
Event participants can also join a visit programme to get an update on the new infrastructure developments in Hong Kong.
Last year, despite pandemic restrictions still in place, the event welcomed more than 180 participants, including 100 business leaders, in-person, while over 700 business representatives from 35 countries and regions joined online.
The Forum runs concurrently with HKTDC Entrepreneur Day and BIP Asia.
