The Covid‑19 outbreak proved a wake‑up call for global fashion manufacturers, brands and traders, leading many to re‑consider their supply chain strategies and look to a more sustainable approach. Addressing these developments, this webinar will focus on how growing Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) awareness has prompted many businesses to embrace the use of recycled fabrics and innovative upcycling solutions.

Julie Wilkens, a 20-year veteran of the knitwear and yarn director, is an undisputed textile industry market leader with solid operational experience across the many different stages of the supply chain – from yarn sourcing, sample development and technical advice through to production control, and quality assurance. Since joining Novetex, she has spearheaded a number of initiatives aimed at challenging and improving industry standards, including exploring the applications of such innovative upcycling technology as The Billie System as a means of promoting more sustainable practices within Hong Kong.
