Event Details
As the pandemic situation in mainland China has recently stabilised, the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region, one of the mainland’s key economic drivers, has introduced an accelerated programme to stimulate consumption and facilitate economic recovery. This extends to Shanghai, where a staged resumption of economic activity is underway. With mainland China actively encouraging high-quality imports from around the world, Shanghai has emerged as a primary conduit into the burgeoning mainland market. In light of this, this workshop will focus on how Hong Kong businesses can access the whole of the YRD and many other key mainland market opportunities, via Shanghai. The session will be moderated by Mr. Shi Chun, the HKTDC’s China Business Advisor, who is currently on secondment from the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce.
