HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition)

WHAT: The 39^th edition of the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) brings electronics suppliers from across the globe to Hong Kong. The fair is divided into thematic zones, with the Hall of Fame showcasing more than 560 world famous brands. The Startup Zone is dedicated to start-up exhibitors and features investment pitching, media pitch, mentoring,  sharing sessions, investment matchmaking and product launches. The Tech Hall spotlights three-dimensional (3D) printing, AI & voice recognition, robotics and unmanned tech, smart tech and virtual reality.

Trade only. Visitors under 18 will not be admitted. Admission fee is HK$100 per person.WHO: Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development CouncilWHY: In addition to the exhibition, the fair offers one-to-one buyer meetings, networking events and trend seminars. Exhibitors can enhance their exposure with a press conference, product demo and launch pad and a media breakfast briefing. At the 2018 fair, there were 3,743 exhibitors and 63,539 buyers from 139 countries and regions. Nearly half the buyers were from Asia outside Hong Kong, while 36% were from Hong Kong. Europe accounted for 7.5% of visitors, North America 3.2% and Latin America 1.7%. Another draw for buyers will be the concurrent electronicAsia components and accessories fair.
