Optimising e-commerce supply chains

WHAT: The COVID-19 pandemic has abruptly changed consumer habits across the globe, generating tremendous e-commerce opportunities. However, the ever-evolving pandemic situation has also caused significant disruption to supply chains. It is important that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) understand how to manage these supply chain issues in order to ride the current trends.

How can SMEs optimise supply chains and at the same time improve efficiency and save money? This seminar, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and UPS, will offer insights into the latest e-commerce trends, challenges and solutions. Industry experts will share their experiences in maintaining an agile supply chain in the current environment.

WHY: Speakers include Jason Chow, Area Sales Manager, Sales and Solutions, UPS Hong Kong and Macao. He will discuss taking advantage of e-commerce trends through effective logistic supply chain management. With more than 20 years’ logistics experience, Mr Chow is overseeing a new generation of import and export businesses.

He is joined by Ken Wong, General Manager, Continental Global, Cross-Border E-commerce Service Group (CBES) Limited. Mr Wong has 15 years of expertise in e-commerce and is a veteran in the operation of various business models.
