CENTRESTAGE, Asia’s premier fashion showcase, will host a record number of designer brands and fashion shows this year, reflecting the vibrancy and international influence of Hong Kong’s fashion industry.

This year’s Featured Partner is Korea, bringing the latest Korean trends and high-street fashion to Hong Kong with its largest-ever presence at CENTRESTAGE.

In total, some 270 brands from 24 countries and regions are lined up to participate this year. This includes first-time appearances from Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates in Asia, Austria, the Faroe Islands and Slovakia in Europe, and Colombia in South America.

Complementing this, CENTRESTAGE is hosting more than 40 spectacular events, including over 30 fashion shows.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, CENTRESTAGE 2026 will be held from 2-5 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The annual celebration of creativity and talent, sponsored by the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, is one of the flagship programmes of Hong Kong Fashion Fest, a city-wide promotion to strengthen the city’s position as a fashion design hub.

“Leveraging on Hong Kong’s role as a superconnector, we would like to utilise CENTRESTAGE to connect the industry with global buyers, partners and media,” Smilely Lam, Associate Executive Director of the HKTDC, said.

“Through CENTRESTAGE, Hong Kong fashion and design can go further and shine brightly on the world stage.”

Dazzling shows

This year’s opening show, CENTRESTAGE ELITES, will feature KIT WAN STUDIOS, a multidisciplinary studio that has worked with renowned celebrities, such as Miriam Yeung, Hins Cheung, MC Cheung and Panther Chan, as well as top-tier global events, including the Grammy Awards and Eurovision.

The studio is led by Kit Wan, a Hong Kong-born creative director and visual artist. Mr Wan will also attend the fair to talk about expanding into overseas markets while sharing insights into his creative process.

Another major highlight, the Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show, is taking inspiration from the theme 'Hong Kong Dopamine', transforming the city’s diversity, aesthetics and energy into a vibrant sensory experience.

Other standout presentations include a fashion showcase organised by the Fashion Farm Foundation, featuring works by designers from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as the Young Knitwear Designers’ Runway 2026, organised by the Knitwear Innovation and Design Society.

In addition, this year’s talks include a Meet with Designer session with Korea’s Rok Hwang. He will discuss building the ROKH brand and taking it onto the international stage, while sharing his own observations on global fashion.

Other talks will look at fashion technology and circular fashion, among other topics, presented by organisations such as AiDLab, a research platform focused on AI and design, and Redress, an NGO seeking to reduce the industry’s environmental impact.

Young talent

At the same time, CENTRESTAGE continues to nurture emerging talent through a series of competitions.

These include the Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest, organised by the HKTDC, and The Thread of Creativity – Fashion Design Competition 2026, organised by the Asian New Generation Creativity Design Association.

In addition, the Sparkle Charity Foundation x Sparkle Collection: Next In Chinese Style – Young Designer Challenge 2026 Award Presentation Ceremony will also honour the next generation of design talent.

In response to the growth of the global streetwear market, a new pavilion called Hype² is also making its debut this year. A Hype² Fashion Show will feature more than 10 trend-setting brands.

This year’s CENTRESTAGE fair comprises seven thematic zones, including a new Perfume zone gathering fragrance brands from around the world. Other zones focus on craftsmanship, contemporary brands, urban fashion, athleisure, circular fashion and accessories.

The Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and Salon de TIME, also organised by HKTDC, will be staged concurrently with CENTRESTAGE, allowing visitors to explore the latest watch and clock products alongside fashion brands at the same venue.
