Qianhai and Hengqin Plans Give Leg Up to Co-operation Platforms in Greater Bay Area

The National Development and Reform Commission recently promulgated plans relating to the development of Hengqin and Qianhai. The Hengqin plan is intended to serve the interests of Macao and to promote the integrated development of Hengqin, while the Qianhai plan focuses on two key tasks: “expanding the scope of the zone” and “reform and opening-up”.
