Expanded Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Co-operation Zone Set for Global Role

The Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Co-operation Zone is to be expanded as part of moves to establish it as a world class development engine with a particular focus on global resource allocation. The initiative, announced on 6 September, will see the operational area of the Zone increased from 14.92 sq km to 120.56 sq km in the run-up to 2035.
