Guangzhou Leverages RCEP to Boost Cross-Border E-Commerce

On 29 March, the Leading Group of the China (Guangzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area released a number of measures for tapping into the RCEP opportunity to boost the innovative development of cross-border e-commerce. The measures include: optimising cross-border e-commerce B2B export customs clearance services by prioritising the inspection of B2B export goods; making use of the power of capital to promote the development of cross-border e-commerce by bringing in premium investment and financing resources from all parts of the world and establishing government guidance funds or financing platforms; and encouraging qualified regular and vocational colleges to offer cross-border e-commerce courses according to actual business needs.
These measures are effective from the date of issuance and will remain in force for three years.
