Guangdong Launches Special Fund to Promote Foreign Trade Transformation

According to a circular issued by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province (Yue Shang Wu Guan Han No. 28 [2021]), the 2021 national special fund for foreign trade and economic development will support entities which provide services around foreign trade transformation and upgrading of bases in the province.

Enterprises will be encouraged to send delegations to exhibitions or take part in the construction of public exhibition centres and overseas warehouses. They will also be encouraged to take part in external exchange and business matching activities, regional brand building and construction of service institutions.

Projects will be included in the provincial budget in two batches: projects initiated between 1 July and 31 December 2020 and those initiated between 1 January and 30 June 2021.
