143 Additional Sectors Encouraged in Hainan Free Trade Port

On 27 January, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and the State Taxation Administration jointly issued a circular on the publication of the Catalogue of Encouraged Industries in the Hainan Free Trade Port (Fa Gai Di Qu Gui No. 120 [2021]). The catalogue is divided into two parts. Part 1 covers encouraged industries in the existing national Catalogue of Encouraged Industries for Foreign Investment. Part 2 covers 143 additional sectors, including manufacturing, information transmission, software and information technology services, transportation, warehousing and postal services, and scientific research and technical services.
