Market Regulators to Further Improve Business Establishment and Registration Services
24 August 2020
The State Administration for Market Regulation and six other government departments issued a circular on further improving the services for business establishment and registration to implement the decision of the central government to deepen the reform of streamlining administration, delegating powers and improving services, as well as making continuous efforts to build a rules-based, internationalised business environment characterised by market principles. The following are some of the main points of this circular:
- All provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) will build one-stop e-government services platforms before the end of 2020 so that business establishment formalities can be completed online across the country.
- Efforts will be made to reduce the time for business registration to within four working days nationwide before the end of 2020. Where conditions permit and where work quality can be assured, efforts will be made to further reduce the time required to establish a business.
- Efforts will be made to promote the use of e-licence, e-invoice and e-chop.
