State Council Extends Pilot Innovation Programme for Trade in Services

On 2 August, the State Council approved, in principle, a plan submitted by the Ministry of Commerce for extending a pilot innovation programme for trade in services. The pilot programme covers the following 28 provinces and cities (regions): Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Hainan, Dalian, Xiamen, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Shijiazhuang, Changchun, Harbin, Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Hefei, Jinan, Weihai, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Guiyang, Kunming, Xi’an, Urumqi, the Xiong’an New Area of Hebei, the Gui’an New Area of Guizhou and the Xixian New Area of Shaanxi. The duration of the pilot programme will be three years.
