China Compulsory Certification Required for Automobile Brake Linings

On 29 May, China’s Certification and Accreditation Administration released Implementation Rules for Compulsory Certification of Brake Linings for Automobiles (CNCA-C11-20:2020) (Announcement No. 12 [2020]). Under the new rules, China compulsory certification (CCC) will replace production permits for brake linings. Manufacturers must ensure that their certified products comply with all certification requirements and standards. Designated certification agencies will formulate detailed implementation rules and file records with the Certification and Accreditation Administration .
The announcement took effect on 1 June.
