China Supports Sale of Export Products on Domestic Market
11 June 2020
The State Council executive meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang on 9 June confirmed the deployment of support for domestic sales of marketable export products to help foreign trade companies tide over difficulties. In an effort to bail out foreign trade companies which employ 200 million people, the government will, while helping these businesses expand the international market, support the domestic sales of marketable export products. The measures include simplifying domestic sales certification and tax processing procedures, supporting e-commerce platforms and large commercial enterprises, etc. in the domestic sales of export products, encouraging financial institutions to increase credit and pledge financing for accounts receivable, inventory and orders, and relying on large-scale e-commerce platforms to strengthen direct loan business to micro, small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises.
