Parents of Young Children Eligible for Additional Tax Allowance

In a circular issued to the local authorities concerned, the State Council recently announced that expenses incurred by caring for children under three years of age are eligible for individual income tax special additional deductions starting from 1 January 2022. The additional allowance is RMB1,000 per month for each child.
