Guangdong Optimises Registration Procedures for Class II Medical Devices

Guangdong announced last month that it plans to optimise review and approval procedures for the registration of Class II medical devices in the province. The review and approval time will be reduced to 10 working days from 20. Support will also be given to innovation-first projects and a special review and approval channel will be assigned for innovative products. These measures will be implemented on a trial basis for one year.
