China Boosts Creation of Smart Residential Communities

According to a proposal on the creation of digitalised residential communities jointly issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and eight other government departments, China aims to create service platforms for such communities by 2025. These will be characterised by high degrees of sophistication, informatisation, sharing and openness. New-style digitalised residential communities will take shape, with elevated levels of governance and service automation.
