China to Upgrade Port and Shipping Service for Reefer Containers

According to the Ministry of Transport, China’s major shipping companies will add more than 18,000 TEUs of IoT-based reefer containers by the end of 2023. The use of block-chain and IoT technologies will help to promote the development of cold chain logistics services. Over 6,000 reefer plugs will be added to major coastal ports.
