Customs of Five YRD Cities to Ensure Smooth Regional Supply Chains

The customs authorities of five Yangtze River Delta (YRD) cities have announced in a joint circular that they plan to establish a customs co-ordination mechanism, as well as a green channel for key enterprises and materials, to ensure the smooth operation of industry and supply chains in the region and reduce the impact of Covid-19. Steps will also be taken to expedite customs declaration procedures at the Shanghai port and speed up the flow of inbound and outbound goods across customs areas.
