The Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales (BUD Fund) provides funding support for Hong Kong enterprises in exploring and developing the Mainland and Free Trade Agreements ("FTAs") and Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements ("IPPAs") markets through developing brands, upgrading and restructuring their operations and promoting domestic sales. The cumulative funding ceiling per enterprise has been increased to HK$7,000,000 and in 16 June 2023 the "Easy BUD" has also been launched to expedite the processing of application. Application form and the requirements for supporting documents have been simplified, and the vetting arrangements have also been streamlined with the processing time of "Easy BUD" applications halved to within 30 working days.
In this T-box workshop, the BUD Fund Implementer will introduce the "Easy BUD", including the application guideline, application procedure and assessment criteria and offer on-site consultation.
