To push ahead the Belt and Road Initiative, China will leverage the advantages of its various regions. That includes making Xinjiang a core area on the Silk Road Economic Belt. Xinjiang has adopted a general strategy of developing five centres and three corridors and the international logistics potential under such strategy merits attention. Xinjiang also plans to develop processing industries to produce goods for markets in Central Asia. More
