Supplement X to CEPA comprises many liberalisation measures related to Hong Kong’s cultural and creative industries, which are a very dynamic sector of the local economy. For the audio-visual services sector alone, there are a total of six measures, and one of the highlighted measures is the permission to allow Hong Kong-produced movies to be imported, distributed and screened on the mainland with the original dialect sound track along with standard Chinese subtitles.
