2026’s trade fair calendar will kick off with a bang from 12 to 15 January as the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Hong Kong Baby Products Fair and Hong Kong International Stationery & Schools Supplies Fair open at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Under the banner New Play for All, the three fairs will feature more than 2,600 exhibitors from 37 countries and regions—including new participants from Bangladesh, New Zealand and Norway—and welcome thousands of buyers and importers from around the world.

Attendees will represent a wide spectrum of sectors, including theme parks, museums, financial institutions, food and beverage companies, hotels, licensing companies, department stores and global distributors.

New collectibles pavilion welcomes public

New this year is the Pop & Play pavilion, a collection of toys and accessories based on some 150 IP assets that will be open to both trade buyers and the public. Its launch comes amid a strong upswing in designer toys and collectibles that is driving new momentum across the ‘kidult’ segment.

Introducing the vision behind the pavilion, HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Jenny Koo said: “The pavilion will help cutting-edge toy brands connect with global buyers to expand into international markets and further unleash the commercial potential of their IPs, while also enabling mainland and overseas brands to engage directly with local designer toy fans.”

A series of highly sought‑after global and fair‑premiere collectibles — from MOMOLAND’s debut dolls and limited‑edition TUTU MOKEY and Father Joka figurines to CM Concepts’ Mazinger Z Playing Cards and threezero’s new Gudo Vinyl Figure collaboration — will be unveiled at the pavilion, with some items available in strictly limited quantities and select pieces available for onsite pre‑order.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the pavilion will host seminars and autograph sessions with toy and collectible designers, alongside displays of rare collector items such as football player Cristiano Rinaldo’s autographed jersey. Visitors can also enjoy installations of giant cartoon statues, games, giveaways and DIY souvenir workshops.

Green products and brand names continue to draw buyer attention

For trade buyers, other highlights at the Toys & Games Fair will be a showcase of innovative eco-friendly products in the Green Toys Zone, including magic sets made from biodegradable materials More than 400 exhibitors will display the green leaf logo this year to indicate their sustainability credentials – an increase of approximately 10% compared to 2025.

At the Baby Products Fair, the World of Strollers and Gear and ODM Strollers and Gear zones will together host approximately 230 exhibitors. Both fairs will continue to feature the popular Brand Name Gallery, bringing together over 380 well-known brands from around the globe and allowing buyers to source the latest designs and high-quality products from a variety of manufacturers.

Meanwhile, the Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair, jointly organised by the HKTDC and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, will feature the latest school and office supplies, creative art supplies and gift stationery products.

Seminars and panels at the Asia Toys & Games Forum will feature speakers from Euromonitor International, The Walt Disney Company, certification firms and toy engineers, who will share insights on the market outlook, industry opportunities, toy safety regulations, AI-driven marketing strategies, and arising trends in modern childcare and infant products.

All three fairs offer online product displays from 5 to 22 January in addition to the on-site exhibition. Registered attendees can also access the Click2Match smart-matching platform to arrange online business meetings and use the Scan2Match function to bookmark their favourite exhibitors, browse product information and engage with suppliers during and after the on-site fair.
