Industry Innovation and Collaboration in the Greater Bay Area: Biomedicine and Smart Healthcare

Under the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area promulgated in February 2019, the Greater Bay Area is positioned to continue deepening reform and further opening up for better integration with the global market system. The environment for innovation in the Greater Bay Area will be enhanced, including those for research and development of biomedicine, high-end medical diagnosis and treatment equipment, genetic testing, modern Chinese medicine, etc. The Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council are jointly organising a seminar entitled Industry Innovation and Collaboration in the Greater Bay Area: Biomedicine and Smart Healthcare. Representatives from bio-medical sector will share their experiences and views on the prospects of cooperation with industry players in the Greater Bay Area.
