Event Details

Established in 2013 with a mission to trial economic reforms, the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone was the first free trade zone in mainland China. Over the last four years, it has spearheaded the introduction of new trade facilitation measures across a variety of sectors, including online sales and cross-border ecommerce. As the zone enters its fifth year of operation, HKTDC Research and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce have taken the opportunity to jointly invite free trade zone specialists from Hong Kong and Shanghai to discuss the impact of the zone to date and to consider its future role.
